Fireflies or known as fireflies are a type of winged insect in the beetle category known as Coleopetra. Fireflies emit a flashing light at night that is yellow, green or pink under their cold abdomens.
Fireflies live in habitats that have many berembang trees. The berembang tree or its scientific name, Sonneratia Caseolaris is a mangrove plant that grows wild on river banks. In our country, there are only a few places known as habitat locations for fireflies in large numbers.
Among the locations are Kampung Pulau, Kubang Kerian, Kelantan; Kota Tinggi, Johor; Cheranting, Kuantan and Kampung Kuantan, Kuala Selangor.
